Copyright:

Unless otherwise noted, all articles on the site are original works written by Deborah S. Roberts and are protected by international copyright law. You are encouraged to share the articles by clicking the share links. And you may use a portion of a MoveThatMountain.com post on your site if you link back to the original post on this site. You cannot, however, lift long passages or entire articles from this site and republish them on your own site or in print because:

1. It’s illegal.

2. It’s unethical.

3. It’s just not nice. You wouldn’t walk around your neighborhood taking other people’s wind chimes and porch swings to install at your own place. Taking other people’s thoughts is worse.

If you are a writer or publisher and wish to quote work from this site in print, please use the appropriate attribution. Should you wish to use a long passage that requires author permission, please use the form on the Contact page.

Responsibility:

The goal of MoveThatMountain.com is to offer common-sense advice to help people manage the everyday trials of life. The advice is culled from the writer’s personal experience as well as from a variety of research sources. However, the advice offered is subjective and the writer or writers are not responsible for any success or failures readers experience as a result of taking or not taking the suggestions offered here. Life is unpredictable, and while these tips should be helpful, there’s no such thing as a sure bet. Readers are urged to use their own best judgment and to seek reliable professional help when necessary.

Privacy:

In a perfect world, you could enter your comments with no identifying info and that would be the end of it. But, sigh, it’s not a perfect world. To eliminate spam comments, we have to request e-mail addresses from our commenters. But rest assured we will never sell the addresses of our commenters or subscribers nor will we share them with any third party.

Our site does use third-party advertising companies and relies on Google Analytics and Sitemeter to track our traffic. These companies use information gathered during your visits to generate ads that may interest you. However, they cannot zero in on your name, street address, e-mail address, telephone number, or any personal information on your computer. Most Web sites rely on similar tracking and/or advertising services.

If you have provided us your e-mail address, MoveThatMountain.com may, on extremely rare occasions, send you an e-mail to ask for your feedback about the site. Otherwise, we’ll leave you in peace. However, we can’t vouch for any other Web site you may access through our site. We hope you’ll check out any ads or links that spark your interest. But be aware that once you leave our site, we can’t be responsible for your privacy or security.

If you have any other concerns about your privacy or the terms or content of MoveThatMountain.com, please use the form on the Contact page.
